How can multiple art forms be crossed and combined, establishing mutual influences to develop creative experiences in multicultural contexts?
The project has been a surface where cultural multiplicity is printed, enriched and expanded
by the collaboration between artists / art educators from multiple geographies.
We focus on exploring aesthetic and pedagogical situations arising from transdisciplinary gathering.
Based on try-out approaches, the artists create platforms structuring self-expression, aesthetic communication
but mostly the search for immaterial places where one can belong.
As an outcome of the first group formation, we designed workshops crossing theater,
music, reflexive dialogue and visual arts held in SOS Children's Village (Helsinki - FI),
with a group of teenagers with previous or current refugee status.
